The 5 C’s for Digital Literacy

Digital Literacy is the ability to access, manage and produce knowledge in a digital environment. Digital literacy is a broad term that encompasses many different skills and abilities. These skills (competencies) can be grouped into five competencies:

  1. Content creation
  2. Critical thinking and problem solving
  3. Collaboration and cooperation
  4. Communication

Each of these five competencies is important for students to develop to succeed in school and their future careers.
